The event will feature Sari Wilson, author of the debut novel Girl Through Glass, which follows the coming of age of a New York City ballet dancer in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and PS 9 dance teacher Iris Wilson, renowned dance, singer, actor, author of Boys Dance Too, which encourages boys to explore the diverse world of dance. The event will be moderated by Mary Harris, host of the WNYC podcast, Only Human.

The PS 9 PTO and Greenlight Bookstore are hosting Voices of Dance - a thought-provoking conversation on growing up as a dancer in NYC and the power and passion of dance as an art form - will take place on Friday, June 3rd at 6:30pm at PS 9 (80 Underhill Avenue, Brooklyn, NY) in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.
