“KNOW YOUR RIGHTS” Workshop

At PS 9 Teunis G. Bergen Elementary School
The PS 9 PTO, in cooperation with CUNY’s Creating Law Enforcement Accountability & Responsibility (CLEAR) Project and the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs, is hosting a KNOW YOUR RIGHTS workshop. The workshop training is free, and all are welcome to attend.
About the Training:
The CLEAR project primarily aims to address the unmet legal needs of Muslim, Arab, South Asian, and other communities in the New York City area that are particularly affected by national security and counter-terrorism policies and practices.
This KNOW YOUR RIGHTS workshop will provide support and guidance on how to interact with law enforcement (NYPD and ICE), travel information, citywide policies on immigration, and citywide resources available to immigrant communities in New York City. All are welcome.
