This fall the PS9 BOUNCE BACK TO SCHOOL CARNIVAL is taking place Saturday, September 16, and everyone is invited!
This year we'll have bounce houses, new games, and a new pricing plan that lowers the admission price to $5 per family. What a bargain for a fun-filled afternoon -- and the fundraiser supports PS 9, the only elementary school in Prospect Heights.
We also need individuals to help staff the festivities. The carnival is entirely volunteer-staffed, and we rely on those of you in the community to volunteer to make it a success, both to build community spirit and to make it a successful fundraiser.
On the SignUp link (http://signup.com/go/pKy6pd), you can sign up for volunteer slots. Many of the slots are for bringing supplies, but it is also vitally important that we get volunteers to:
1) Staff bounce houses
2) Work the ticket booth on the way in
3) Supervise games
4) Work at the grill.
The shifts are not long and volunteering for our school is rewarding, so please sign up!
